Rachel is licensed by the MA Board of Medicine and by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) with a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and has served as Adjunct Faculty in the acupuncture program at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Rachel specializes in Chinese-style Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, has a certification in Auriculotherapy by the Auriculotherapy Institute and has studied Orthopedic-style Acupuncture. In addition to Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, Rachel's patients can also receive cupping, gua sha, moxibustion (heat therapy), acupressure and noninsertive techniques, and electro-acupuncture. She works holistically with patients to develop individualized nutrition, exercise and lifestyle plans and is passionate about using these tools to help patients recover and maintain their optimum state of health.

Rachel received her BA in Political Science from Mount Holyoke College in 2009. She worked for several years at a national nonprofit environmental organization managing a regional office. Her journey to acupuncture began after developing a series of debilitating chronic autoimmune illnesses. Frustrated with the state of her health and lack of standard medical options, she sought alternative options and discovered acupuncture. She credits acupuncture and traditional Chinese herbal medicine, along with nutritional therapy and exercise, with saving her life and starting her back on the road to health. Rachel is also an avid yoga practitioner and social media presence and you can follow her @itsracheldelaney
